Terry Gold, Founder, CEO, and President

Terry Gold is the co-founder, CEO and President of Gold Systems, an independent software development company that creates self-service solutions powered by voice.

Terry came to Colorado in 1985 and worked as a contract software developer with AT&T Bell Laboratories, where he worked on AT&T’s first computer telephony product, the ISDN Gateway which facilitated the ‘screen pop’ concept, now known as Computer Telephony Integration (CTI). He has over twenty years experience in business and software and serves on the Board of advisors for several local technology companies. He was a founding member of the Colorado chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization and is a former member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. In 2000 he and his co-founder were recognized with the “Esprit Entrepreneur of Distinction” award, and in 2003 Terry was recognized as a finalist at the Rocky Mountain Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

Gold Systems was named to the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in 1998. The company has also been named to the Deloitte & Touche Colorado Fast 50 seven times.


Craig Lamborn, Chief Financial Officer

Craig Lamborn brings more than 25 years of industry experience in both private and public companies. Before joining Gold Systems he was Sr. VP and CFO of Cornice, Inc. where he was responsible for finance, accounting, legal, facilities, administration and information technology. Prior to that he was at First Data Corporation, as Sr. VP and CFO of its wholly owned subsidiary, First Data Resources. Previously, Craig worked as CFO at Interelate, Exabyte Corporation and Kentek Information Systems. He also held management titles at McData and Union Pacific.

His work experience includes a wide range of accounting and finance related activities, including SEC filings of S-1s, 10Ks, 10Qs and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance work. In addition, Craig has participated in several financing transactions including private equity offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. Craig is a CPA and holds a B.A. in Accounting from Boise State University.


Tom Tasker, Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Tom Tasker leads the sales and marketing organization at Gold Systems. He joined Gold Systems in 1996, and as Regional Sales Manager built and managed the fast-growing Rocky Mountain and Midwest sales operations. Tom has worked across a wide range of industries and channels, consistently surpassing sales targets and earning numerous awards for top-performing territory. He also developed a long-term partnership with a leading telecommunications provider to bring contact center solutions to market. Tom is passionate about helping our customers and partners achieve great results in customer satisfaction, productivity, and cost savings with Gold Systems solutions. Before joining Gold Systems, Tom worked as an attorney. He earned his law degree at Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, and a B.A. in Economics at the University of Arizona.


Ron Krubeck, Vice President of Engineering

Ron Krubeck brings to Gold Systems more than 25 years of experience in the software industry. Prior to Gold Systems, Ron held executive leadership positions in a number of enterprises ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, including Stratavia, Rational Software Corporation, Requisite Inc., Sybase and others. Ron’s responsibilities have included participating in strategic business and product planning, pre- and post-sales customer involvement, software product design, delivery and support. Organizationally, Ron is adept at building and leading software engineering teams and has been accountable for a variety of organizations including software development, quality assurance, technical publications and product support. Ron has significant experience with software process methodologies including Waterfall, Rational Unified Process and, most recently, Agile (where he is a Certified ScrumMaster). Ron has a B.A. in Mathematics with a Computer Science option from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
